In response to this ISC has created an easy to follow, step by step guide. We hope you find it helpful.

Six Steps to ISO Certification

Did you know that becoming an ISO accredited organisation offers many tangible benefits? Imagine having everyone within your organisation on the same page. This would deliver consistency, and consistency delivers growth. ISC is here to help you grow, delivering honest advice and support throughout your ISO journey.

A Beginner’s Guide to ISO Certification

To get started please click here and view our Guide to ISO Certification page. Once you have reviewed the steps listed you will be promoted to choose a standard. Depending on the size of your organisation you may wish to consider hiring an ISO Consultant.

Hiring an ISO Consultant

A couple of questions you should ask an ISO Consultant are; Have you got industry experience? Do you have the relevant qualifications in place? Remember; a good ISO Consultant will add value, bringing his/her experiences to the table. An experienced ISO Consultant should help your organisation overcome any issues or questions linked to the standard(s) you have chosen. They will also reduce the risk of starting down the wrong path, or missing critical requirements of ISO standard(s).

Is it easy to get ISO certification?

The short answer is yes, however this will depend on you/your business. Our Guide to ISO Certification page breaks down an ISO journey into six simple steps. By following these steps, obtaining an ISO Certificate for your organisation is indeed possible. Step one will be choosing the Standard(s) you wish to implement. Step two is an ISC setup process. Step three looks at and reviews your assessment. Step four covers documents and tasks. Step five is obtaining your certificate(s). And finally step six, this is about maintaining ISO compliance.
